The Sidekick has returned, thats right you are not hearing things the t-Mobile Sidekick is making another stab at smartphone fame.  I’m sure that most of you will remember the Sidekick, especially if you have been a T-Mobile customer for some time.  We reported a few days ago that there was a new 4G version of the Sidekick coming out on TMO, and a someone has got their hands on one and shared some pictures of the upcoming device.  There doesn’t really appear to be anything new in the form factor department, but this new Sidekick will be running Android 2.2.1, and it looks like it may have a front facing camera.  the word on the street is that Samsung is manufacturing this one (and the etched logo on the back of the device seems like the nail in the coffin on it being a rumor), and if you are looking for something a little different on the Android platform this may be just the thing for you.

Now all we need is some more pictures of the screens to get a better idea what the Sidekick skin will really look like.
