Thunderbolt Launch Delays, No ETA At The Moment

Earlier today Amazon put up on their Thunderbolt page that the device was to be available on February 14th, as was the common consensus.  It appears now that Verizon has delayed the launch of the Thunderbolt with no current ETA.  Numerous sites have received this info, and it is suprising as most of the promotional information  has been sent out, and we hare even seeing some “dummy units” arriving at retailers.  One os the speculated reasons for the delay is that the 4G mobile hotspot is not working, and while Verizon had stated that it would be resolved by launch, perhaps there are stil issues and thus we have a delay on our hands.

Now there have also been some grumblings that the Skype mobile app is the issue, but at this point all of this is rumor and nothing has been confirmed by Verizon as to why there is a delay.  As we said, hopefully the delay won’t be long and maybe we will see the Thunderbolt launch on February 24th, the original speculated launch date.
