UberMedia has finally got their re-tweaked Twitter clients approved, and you may now re-download and get back tweeting away your day. Earlier this weekend Twitter banned UberMedia’s apps as they were in violation of some rules, but luckily the fine folks that bring us Twidroyd went hard to work, and after waiting for approval their apps are finally able to be downloaded again. We know that some of you may have gone into Twiiter withdrawal over the last few hours, but you can get your tweet fix and get your life back on track. While the current version you have may be working, we reccomend that you hit up the link below and download the latest version to avoid any error. Now you may be asking why your beloved Twitter client was banned, well here is the explanation from the source;
As for why the popular app was suspended? UberMedia founder Bill Gross explained on Quora:
1. Twitter said that in UberTwitter and Twidroyd we use a tweet-elongation service named tmi.me that allows people to write more than 140 characters, and that this service may post private messages on a public website. At their request, we have removed this ability.
2. Twitter said that in UberCurrent we change links that are part of an affiliate program to be our own links. We don’t currently do this, but we removed all changing of links to eliminate any possibility of this.
3. Twitter said that they would like us to change the name UberTwitter, and we have changed the name to UberSocial, effective immediately.
Now that we can relax and once again enjoy some Twidroyd the world seems whole again.
