It looks like Samsung is getting ready to release the WiFi only version of the original Galaxy Tab. The WiFi Tab is rumored to be launching on April 4th for $399, which is a pretty good deal for a 7″ Android tablet. Now the thing to consider before running out and buying one of these is that the Tab is not expected to get Honeycomb, so it is a little behind the current generation.

The Tab will come with Froyo and in light of all the new tablets emerging on the market may stay there. Now you do always have the option to load custom ROMs on the Tab, which would make it a pretty good deal at $399.
