If you have decided that you want to get your hands on one of Sony Ericsson’s new devices and are on Rogers in Canada, you aren’t going to have to wait much longer. It looks like both the Xperia Arc and the Xperia Play will be launching late April on the Canadian carrier, and for a pretty decent price. Rumor is that both new Xperia devices will be sold for $99 on a 3 year contract (with a minimum $45 data+voice plan), which is much lower than I was expecting. There is still no word yet on outright pricing, but you can imagine that if the phones are going to be $99 on contract, the outright price will be somewhere in the $500-600 range.
There is also no solid release date, but rumor has it that Rogers stores will begin to receive stock between April 19th and April 21st. If you are on Rogers in Canada and are thinking about getting one of these please let us know why by dropping a comment!
