When it comes to the Droid 3 there have been multiple leaks and rumors that have been floating around lately. Today we have the low down on the Droid 3/Milestone 3 from XDA.CN and it isn’t looking all that good for the device. INcase you are wondering about the name, yes the Milestone name is what the non-Verizon versions of the Droid line has received (ie. Milestone, Milestone X, and so on). So what did we learn from this thorough hands on by the Chinese site, well it does in fact has a qHD display, and it will have a dual-core OMAP 4430 processor, and a 8MP rear camera capable of 1080p video. So you may wonder what could be so bad about this device just looking at those specs? Well hit the jump to check out the rest.

The first big downfall of the device is the fact that it only has 512MB of RAM, which is a real shame on such a nice device. The lack of RAM really keeps this device from competing with any other new device. The other big issue is the fact that Motorola has yet again used the Pentile screen, which is plainly horrible. We would have thought that after the complaints about previous devices with the Pentile screen that Motorola would have gone another route. When compared to a Samsung Galaxy S II or HTC Sensation the Droid 3/Milestone 3 just doesn’t cut it.
The device also features the new Blur, which hasn’t been as hated as other versions of the skin, but it is still Blur. While I am sure that the device is pretty much what we will see as the Droid 3 on Verizon, we can hope that there will be some changes for the US version. Check out some of the pics from the hands on below, and make sure to let us know what you think of the Droid 3/Milestone 3 by dropping us a comment.
