ZTE Smart tablet debute at IFA 2011 but gave no indication of real good details about it other than it was 7″.  Contrary to analysts and others, the 7″ tablet has done very well given the tremendous amount 1f 10″ and higher sizes such as the Tab and iPad.  The good news is we may see this in the U.S. soon as it just cleared the FCC.  Read more after the break.

The FCC filing shows us a Google stamp, a rear facing camera, Wifi and 3G connectivity.  3G in a 4G world is not yet uncommon, however, it’s not a recommended action to makers to keep up with the Jones’s.  We did see a 4G that came up and this could be a 4G even with the 3G stamp on it.  This tab has a soft rubber grip for easy handling and running Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

Specs include

  • dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16 and 32G
Like you, we are also awaiting more details.  We will keep you updated on it as soon as we can!
