Earlier today we announced that Net10 will be getting the LG Optimus Q and the LG Optimus Net.  Now we find out StraightTalk, another prepaid wireless carrier, will be getting the Optimus Q as well.  It really does seem like the Android train is getting around the carriers.  Right now there is no word on a release date, just coming soon.  I am sure we will hear more about this and when we do we of course, just like the LG Esteem tell you all we can!  Hot the break to see the specs of the LG Optimus Q.

  • 3 MP Camera
  • 3G/Wi-Fi® Connectivity

Lets just hope they learned from the epic fail when they did the sprint based Samsung Presedent. And make this phone eather cdma.v OR the GSM.a… I would hope it will be the GSM.a model like the nokia that is so loved.. ( where I live you cant get any worse than sprint! )

  • Joy

Actually,I heard that this phone is gonna be Verizon Towers. That’s Excellent:)

  • Dana

What size is internal memory and how do the specs compare to the precedent?

  • Kc7wzl

Well I found out that this phone will be a epic fail bot too. it is going to be another sprint based one… come to find out when trackfone was in talks with the major carriers verizon and at&t refeused to supply android phones for X amount… and verison 1 thing even worse. they refused a unlimited plan on there network. so sprint seen a big green light for making money jumped on the gun to supply ST with the android phones. :( I can only hope with the new influx of money they will do something about there crappy network. sprint has a 1 year contract with Trackfone ( and there sub comp. ) when verizon come to terms they messed up they tried to back peddel but TF said nope contract is made come back next year.. so maybe verison and at&t will pull there head out of there nether areas and get on the ball next year!

  • Jon

It’s already out and I just got one two days ago. So far I haven’t found ANY problems with it. I get 3G service quite frequently, even when I roam around. Sprint network wasn’t as bad as I thought!
