Samsung Galaxy Note makes a visit at the FCC, and it’s heading to North America

GalaxyNote1

Whenever we see a phone pass through the FCC we get a little excited.  Everyone knows that you can’t sell a phone in America without it going through the FCC.  The Samsung Galaxy Note is no exception to the rule.  This phone/tablet made its appearance and now is heading to North America.  There is no word on what country it will land in but going by the filing it has 3G/4G bands that are compatible with some carriers in Canada and also with AT&T in the States.  Hit the break to see the filing and the specs for a refresher.

The Samsung Galaxy Note specs include:

  • 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display
  • Powerful 1.4GHz dual-core processor
  • Android 2.3 with the Touchwiz UI
  • S Pen pen-input device
  • Much more
It’s a pretty impressive unit in my opinion.  Having the features of a phone and the convenience of a tablet.  The Note was announced at IFA 2011 in Berlin.
