Samsung: ICS for the Galaxy S II rolling out today for some — Canadians still on the waiting list!

Galaxy Nexus users have been enjoying the benefits of Android Ice Cream Sandwich since early December of last year.  Many Samsung Galaxy S II users have been waiting for their update to ICS.  The only official word from Samsung was that the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note would receive ICS in the first quarter of 2012.

Just a few minutes ago, the Samsung Twitter account tweeted the following — “#ICS for #GALAXYSII will be available today in Europe including Poland, Hungary, Sweden, & Korea, & gradually roll out to other markets

Looks like those of you Canadian users will have to wait just a little bit longer as you are in the “other markets” group. What are your thoughts on this?  Share them with us!
