Got old phones laying around?  Want to upgrade to the latest and greatest, but don’t want to break the bank doing it?  You need to check out Verizon’s trade-in program. Before today, if your participated in the trade-in program to receive cash for your old devices, you’d have to wait for it to come in the mail.  No one likes waiting, so Verizon has decided that it will ditch the mail outs in favor of electronic gift cards. It should be noted that you will receive the gift card after Verizon has received the device first.
