Google has pushed an update out for the Android Gmail app today that brings some of the ICS flavor to Honeycomb devices. Now of course there are also some fixes and new features for Gingerbread and Froyo devices, however the largest changes will only be felt by those that are using Honeycomb.
The big new features for Honeycomb users is that they can now swipe between messages, as well as a shortcut in the top left corner for selecting recent labels. Honeycomb users will also gain the ability to customize the way Gmail notifies you about mail with different labels. All around this is a very nice update to the Gmail app, and of course you can get said update by heading into the Google Play store and going into “My Apps”.
