If pondering what a rumored device is going to be not cutting it for you anymore?  How about pondering about another rumored device that will be a competitor for the first rumored device?  Well apparently LG is working on something just for you.  Rumors broke today that LG is working on a high-end device that is supposed to be positioned as a competitor for the yet to be announced/released Samsung Galaxy S III.

The LG D1L is said to be a 4.7″ device that will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and will also feature a 1280×720 display.  The D1L is also said to be the first LG device to be launching with Ice Cream Sandwich, which is something that should have been on the other dozen devices they just announced at MWC this year.  An anonymous source from LG has apparently confirmed that there is a D1L project in the works, however there was no confirmation as to whether or not it is a high-end Android device.

I don’t like to help the hype beast, but a rumored device said to be a competitor for another rumored device was just to fun to ignore!
