Users of the T-Mobile G2x can relax now.  Your Android 2.3.4 update is officially available from LG and T-Mobile beginning today, April 23rd.  In the past the update was on LG’s website, then it was pulled, then it was put back up only to be pulled again.  Man, can someone make up their mind?

Beginning on April 23rd, LG and T-Mobile will begin pushing the update via OTA.  It is being labeled as P999-V21y.  It will continue to be pushed out until May 14th.  Users who do not want to wait for the OTA update can hit up the T-Mobile support forums and find the instructions to manually perform the update.  Below is the change log for the update:

• Android version 2.3 / Software version P999-V21y
• Over-The-Air Update(30.5 MB) and Manual update via LG website
• Approved 4/23/12
• Improvements:
• Random  reboot/power off fixed
• Device stability improvements
• Wi-Fi Calling  improvements
• Boot up fixes

Now that the update is official, we hope it addresses all of the concerns and issues users are having with their devices.
