This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, since Sprint’s Galaxy Nexus is only $199 on contract, but Verizon has dropped the price of their Nexus to $199. With the launch of the “pure Google” Nexus on the new Sprint LTE network, it really doesn’t come as much of a surprise that Verizon would drop their Nexus by $100. So if you were still thinking about getting a Galaxy Nexus on the Verizon LTE network, I suggest you make the leap and just go get one. With the pice drop there is really no reason to switch to the Sprint LTE network, that really isn’t in place yet, when you can take advantage of the ever-expanding Verizon one.
