When the One X was released, we reported that its bootloader was not playing nice with HTC’s Unlocker Tool. Such is not the case today, thanks to a developer over at RootzWiki.
This process is potentially very damaging, and we advise that you do this at your own risk. That being said, the process requires editing hex code to change the identity of the device. This edit changes the device, from an AT&T One X, to one being used on Rogers in Canada. Thus rendering HTC’s Unlocker Tool useful! Click the source for more!
