I love my music as much as the next person. I listen to it at work, at home, in the car, and at the gym. In my quest to find headphones that fit me and my needs, I came across a company called House of Marley. They make a wide range of headphones, from in your ear, to over your ear. Different styles, colors to suit even the most pickiest music fein. House of Marley was kind enough to send me a pair of their Stir it Up On-Ear Headphones to review. Join me after the break for the entire review!
The headphones come packaged in a nice box. It is actually made of recycled materials. Upon opening the box, you will find a plastic container with the headphones, a snazzy carry pouch and warranty information pamphlets.
I like the fabric covered cord. They say it’s to prevent the headphones from becoming tangled and I have to agree. Not the case with most other headphones. Take them off and they are tangled. The cord comes detached from the headphones for easy storage in the carrying pouch.
They are constructed from Earth friendly materials, containing FSC certified Beech wood and recyclable aluminum.
The headphones are not too heavy and fit perfectly on my ears. They are adjustable to several different levels to accommodate you.
Most on the ear headphones tend to irritate my ears after a period of time wearing them, but that’s not the case with these. I wore them for a couple hours straight listening to music and then took them off and my ears felt fine. Not something I can really say about most other brands. Great job House of Marely!!!
I love listening to my music. I’ve probably mentioned that before. I listen to certain songs for the rhythm, the bass, and the instruments (guitars, keyboards, etc.) Like I said, I was on a quest to find the perfect headphones for me. I decided to put these headphones through the paces. I put the headphones on and fired up Spotify. Clicked on a play-list I had setup and picked a song. WOW! These headphones are amazing! The sound quality is absolutely outstanding! The bass is thumping and the treble is clear.
If you couldn’t tell from my reactions above, I’m thoroughly impressed with these headphones. I’m amazed at the sound these things produce. I’ve never heard the same quality from other pairs. And believe me, I’ve tried many, many other headphones. If you’re looking for a decent pair on in the ear headphones, I recommend you check out the House of Marley Stir it Up On-Ear Headphones. Priced at $199.99, they come in a little more than your average brand of headphones, but I think for the quality, they are worth every bit of the price. Try them once and I think you’ll agree.
