It appears MetroPCS will be getting its first ICS phone.  We don’t know much about this phone and MetroPCS is unwilling to give us any information about it.  In an email to them we received this:

Andrew,

Thanks for your e-mail. We haven’t announced any new devices and don’t have any information available at this time.

I was hardly shocked to see that, but I did reply with more questions that would require vauge answers.  Hit the break to see the rumor.

According to @evleaks the phone has a Snapdragon chipset.  Knowing MetroPCS needs to appeal to the masses I would assume it’s a dual-core 1.2Ghz same as the LG Connect.  qHD  (960×540) screen, 5MP rear cam, going  by the picture a front camera is seen and probably in the area of 1.2 – 2MP.  It’s for sure an LTE phone with ICS.  This would be the

first phone with MetroPCS to be released with stock ICS and a good thing too.  We’ll do some more digging and as more information comes out we will keep you updated on it.
