jb-fido

Jelly Bean…Android 4.1….the newest Android OS is now being rolled out for Fido. Word from Android Bugle is that the Nexus S owner got the update. If you haven’t received the notification about the update you can try to force the issue by doing

the following steps:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Apps’ and select the ‘All’ tab
  2. Scroll down to ‘Google Service Framework’ and first ‘Clear data’
  3. Then, ‘Force Stop’ the application
  4. Go back then From ‘Settings’ scroll down to the bottom to ‘About Phone’
  5. Select it and then select ‘System Update’
  6. Jelly Bean update then starts – If it doesn’t

start then repeat steps 1 to 5. It will eventually update so just bear with it.
