When I spotted this story, I thought: this is going to be awesome! A phone that has a projector built right in? Heck yeah! Maybe not…

users in the United Kingdom can purchase the Samsung Beam smartphone
. The catch is that it is only going to be running Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread).
Is it me, or is that a metaphorical slap in the face to us Android enthusiasts? I mean, give a device a freaking projector good enough to put an image on a 50″ screen at 15 lumens, but have it run Gingerbread? Its kind of aggravating if you ask me.
Anyway, maybe we’ll see this device come to our shores soon, so we can ridicule it! Until next time!
