[REVIEW] myCharge Summit 3000

So a few a months ago, we reviewed the buy propecia online

/androidnerds.net/2012/04/22/review-mycharge-portable-power-bank-6000/”>myCharge Portable Power Bank 6000 from the fine folks at myCharge. They recently reached out to us to let us know they had revised the myCharge product line and wanted to know if we wanted to review one. Since we were so thrilled with the original myCharge product line, our answer was heck yes! A few weeks later we had a brand new myCharge Summit 3000 show up at our doorstep. We couldn’t wait to put the product through its paces to see what was new. Join us after the break to see what we think about this myCharge Summit 3000.

The myCharge

The first thing new thing we noticed was the flip out wall prongs allowing you to plug the unit into a wall socket to charge.

The second new thing I noticed was the sleek, new design of the myCharge. Its shiny white with Android green and grey colors.

It features four LEDs at the top to indicate the charge level of the Summit.

Probably the coolest feature of the Summit 3000 is the voice prompts. It will tell you when the unit is charged, it will tell you the level of charge the unit has, and will also tell you when a

device is connected to the Summit. It has the ability to speak in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese languages.

Before you ask, yes, you can mute the talking notifications. You simply lift up the apple charger and there are two buttons. Push the button with the three lines above it to mute the talking. Push it again to enable it. Push the button that looks like a person to change the language which the Summit speaks in.

Let’s get down to the meat and potatoes of the Summit. I was impressed with the charging power of the first myCharge device and it seems the folks at myCharge have improved on it. My HTC Amaze 4G was down to about 30% battery left. I was nowhere near a plug so I pulled out the Summit. The Summit only had a 50% charge on it and it was able to almost

fully charge my Amaze in just over an hours time frame. Talk about impressed!

The Summit goes anywhere I go. I never leave home without it.

Overall Thoughts

I really like the new myCharge Summit 3000. It’s slim, sleek, yet has to power to charge the most power hungry of devices. I like the changes the myCharge people have done. Coming in a $79.99, I think its a small price to pay to have a portable charging system that works. There are many others on the market, but they are not a myCharge. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a portable charging solution and doesn’t want to pay an arm and a leg. You will not be disappointed.
